Quick Ideas for Using the Video:

  • This exhibition includes works exploring math’s relationship to art. Prior to viewing the video, have students discuss and/or begin to create works of their own that explore that idea. As students work, include the video for them to see other ideas meeting the same theme. Would their work fit in the exhibition? Why or why not?
  • Use the video in a math class as well as an art class or in a cross-curricular arts integration project. Identify match principles, concepts, or shapes students should include in their work and evaluate the work from both a mathematic and artistic perspective.

*Tours take students to laboratories, studios, workspaces, museums and other diverse “in the field” and community locations related to the area of study.
