Quick Ideas for Using the Video:

  • Use the video with an activity that has students creating their own artworks cut from paper. What challenges occur if the work is to be seen from a 360 degree perspective versus a flat perspective?
  • Have students respond to the art they see. How would they describe it? What do they like? Dislike? Why? Have them evaluate the work from both the perspective of an artist and also based on personal preferences.

*Tours take students to laboratories, studios, workspaces, museums and other diverse “in the field” and community locations related to the area of study.
