Video Description: Tour two exhibits at The Bruno David Gallery, “Steamroller Collaborations” and “It’s Romantic.” In “Steamroller Collaborations,” Yvette Drury Dubinsky and Vicky Tomayko team up to create stencil based prints reflecting their experiences in nature. Taylor Yocom examines the artificially crafted romance experience in her still life series, “It’s Romantic.” Yocom’s video piece, “Romance: A feeling of excitement or mystery associated with love,” accompanies her photographs.

• Have students respond to the art seen from each artist based on the background information the artist provides about their work in the video. Has the artist reached his/her objective? What do they like? Dislike? Have students write a review of the exhibition that includes commentary based on both artistic principles and personal preferences.
• Use the interviews as inspiration for student created videos that have them interview each other about work they are creating and exhibiting in class. Include the video as part of the exhibition or publish it online with images of the art work or use it in another forum of your choice.
