Quick Ideas for Using our Theatre On Stage and Off Videos:

  • Foster an appreciation for theatre by learning from theatre professionals directly.
  • Give students a “behind the scenes” look at what goes into creating a theatrical production by going “inside the head” of actors, designers, directors, and other theatre professionals and seeing them create.
  • Use performance videos to show theatre concepts in action.
  • Have students include insights gained through the videos as part of their projects, papers, and presentations on a theatre-related subject by:
    • interpreting and/or summarizing what they saw and learned in the video.
    • citing quotations from the expert in the video.
