Teaching children while they are homebound creates a learning situation that is unusual for the student, the teacher, and the parent.  Whether the extended absence is caused by the student’s health or any other reason, the situation can be challenging.  In light of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we are experiencing this situation in a new way as school districts close and seek to incorporate ways to connect students and teachers online while students study from home.  As educators ourselves, we want to support parents and teachers with ideas for teaching children who are homebound, whether it’s for one student or an entire class.  To see materials currently available, check out the Weblinks, Student Tools, and Teacher Tools below and the Resource Packages to the right.

And, as always, you can search all resources available on our website by keyword, educational standard, category, or video ID.  Just click on “Search” on our home page.
