Video Description: In 2015, the St. Louis School District opened its doors to several shuttered schools that were no long in use to developers and the public. Dozens of area photographers also went along on the tour. Many were shocked by the state of those schools due to weather, time, vandals and more. However, they also captured the beauty of those schools. A local photographer decided to curate an exhibit featuring their work – and the photos together tell a story of history gone by and hope for future re-use.
