Video Description: The Mighty Mississippi exhibit at the Missouri History Museum tells the story of North America’s greatest river. Over 300 artifacts shed light on the impact the river has had on the region now known as St. Louis and the many people that have lived there from the present all the way back to an enigmatic era long before the Mississippian people erected the Cahokia Mounds.
