Video Description: New April 2023! “The Blues” features works by five artists: Jim Carlson, Ann Croghan, Sue Giannotti, Lisa Hinrichs, and Jody Williams. The theme of the show explores the word “Blue” and all of its potential interpretations across a variety of media.

Quick Ideas for Using the Video:
- Use the video in conjunction with an activity that has students exploring a color theme of your or their choice. Have students select their medium and display the work as a class exhibit or have students create works in different mediums and respond to how the medium affected how they interpreted the color and what they wanted to present to the viewer.
*Tours take students to laboratories, studios, workspaces, museums and other diverse “in the field” and community locations related to the area of study.
