Quick Ideas for Using the Video:

  • Before viewing the video ask students the big picture question, “What does it mean to live green and what can I do to be better at it?” Let students know they will be learning more about these questions during the video and have them jot down interesting facts as they watch. This can then be used to lead a class discussion on how to live green.
  • After viewing the video ask the students to choose one of the key questions: How can we better protect and preserve Mother Nature? What does it really mean to reduce, reuse and recycle? What can you do at home and school to make a difference? Once they have chosen a question, ask students to create a small presentation using information from the video and other information from the internet to answer the chosen question and discuss with the rest of the class.

*Programs offer long form exploration of a topic(s) in the area of study with single or multiple guests interacting with an audience.
