What is the Discover Volvox Development (DVD) Project? The DVD project builds a novel trend for collaborating with school communities to discover Volvox developmental mutants. To increase the library size of Volvox mutants, the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center has pioneered DVD with schools in the St. Louis, Missouri area and developed step-by-step photo protocols for teachers and students to follow. This versatile project may be adapted to different teaching needs and includes various ideas for incorporating DVD into school curricula.
