Quick Ideas for Using the Video:
- Use the video in a cross curricular activity with art. The dance was inspired by the picture projected behind the dancers. How do students think the dance reflects, complements, or diverges from the painting? Have students work in small groups, select a painting of their choice and choreograph a two to three minute dance inspired by the painting chosen.
- Use the video as a “start of day” activity to get students talking about what they saw and enjoyed.
- Use the video as an “end of day” activity to relax, de-stress, and enjoy. Have them respond to the dance in a journal entry or think/pair/share activity.
