Video Description: Butoh is a Japanese form of dance that uses a variety of methods to explore and express unconscious states of being.  Jane Tellini was instantly attracted to Butoh six years ago while attending her first Butoh workshop, led by dancer and teacher, Diego Piñon. Juxtaposed to her lifelong classical dance training, Jane found that studying Butoh expanded the possibility to access bodily wisdom and intelligence.
