To best understand America in wartime, whether that conflict was the Civil War, World War II, occurred in Korea or Vietnam, or is a more recent experience in Afghanistan or the Middle East, it’s necessary to do more than just identify important turning points or dates and study battle plans and strategies. Essential learning and vital insights occur when first person accounts are added to the curriculum. That’s why we offer our America in Wartime Resource Package that takes your study of America in war to the veterans who served in them. Use the power of primary sources from diaries, letters, and first person video interviews to impact your students’ learning.
