Video Description: The coming of age story, “Autobiography of a Brown Buffalo” by Oscar Zeta Acosta, centers on the experiences of a Chicano in the 1960s and questions of identity in America. José Guadalupe Garza has reimagined a sequel in the form of appropriated and manipulated images from popular culture that give a glimpse into the experiences of those in the immigrant community. His pieces range from the abstract to the political.
