Quick Ideas for Using the Video:

  • For Discussion: Prior to viewing the video have students discuss the “stories of resistance” theme of the exhibition. What do they expect to see represented? What would they create/choose to depict if they were to create a piece for the show? Is there a work they see in the video that they believe best represents the theme?
  • Activity Idea: Use the video with a cross curricular activity linked to history and/or current issues. Have students research stories of resistance and create art, posters, photographs, etc. that represent them.

*Tours take students to laboratories, studios, workspaces, museums and other diverse “in the field” and community locations related to the area of study.
