Quick Ideas for Using our Art and Artists Videos:

  • Foster an appreciation for the visual arts by learning from artists and curators directly.
  • Give students a “behind the scenes” look at what goes into creating a piece of art by going “inside the head” of artists and seeing them create.
  • Have students learn about different types and media of visual arts.
  • Have students include insights gained through the videos as part of their projects, papers, and presentations on an arts-related subject by:
    • interpreting and/or summarizing what they saw and learned in the video.
    • citing quotations from the expert in the video.
