Video Description: This video provides newsreel footage from the “Bloody Sunday” march in Selma, Alabama from March 7, 1965.  A young John Lewis is a leader of the march.  Use this historical footage in your study of America’s Civil Rights Movement.  For a specific lesson plan, use it with Teacher Tool 237: Athletes Take a Stand and Student Tool 47: Athletes Take a Stand.
